Jo Laurie has enjoyed working in the investment and insurance industry since 1995.  With a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from the University of California, Irvine, her knowledge as well as experience bring great value to the clients she serves. Her specialty of interest is in retirement planning, including the growth of assets prior to retirement as well as methods for maximizing income at retirement.

Jo Laurie comes to Meriwest with over 27 years’ experience in the financial industry and has worked at various firms including Dean Witter Reynolds, Charles Schwab, Bank of the West, Bayview Bank, Patelco Credit Union, Provident Credit Union, and E*Trade.  She is an Investment Adviser Representative and holds a General Securities Representative  (Series 7), a Uniform Combined State Law  (Series 66), and a Life & Health Insurance license. 

In her spare time, she is an avid Ballroom and Argentine Tango dancer. Beyond dancing, Jo has enjoyed many years studying various styles of Martial Arts. She also loves yoga, reading and spending time with her family.
